JETGI shall provide appropriate support structure and facilities that will foster learning into a great experience. JETGI focuses on technical training in relation to syllabuses hence exposing the graduates to rich educational and technical experiences. The excellent faculty in conjunction with latest infrastructure and resources will enhance the learning experiences of the students to shape them into competitive professionals. Students are assured of a positive, proactive and affirmative action program.
The academic pace and competence of the faculty member of an institution is a barometer for the performance and excellence of the institute as well as its graduates. Maximum attention is being given to bring excellent, highly qualified and competent teaching faculty to the JETGI. The visiting faculty from, other institutions in India, U.S., and Canada shall visit the departments, interact with students and teachers, evaluate academic progress and offer suggestions to teachers and advice to students. They will also give lectures.
Computer Centre:
The Institute shall have well-equipped and air-conditioned computer laboratories with the latest hardware and software. All the computers will form a part of an intranet. The Institute has a high bandwidth (256 Kbps being upgraded to 2 Mbps) 24X7 Internet connectivity. Students and researchers have a round the clock access to computational facilities. The Institute has more than 100 PC's, Two Servers, Nine web manageable switches, 6 iMac G5 Graphic Stations, 10 Printers, Two Scanners, Two 5KVA Online UPSs and many offline UPS for individual computer systems. The Institute has an Automatic on Mains Failure Panel, which provides no-break power to all the computer systems.
Hostel:
The Institute has hostel facilities for 110 boys and 36 girls separately with a 24 hours backup power supply. Committees consisting of elected student representatives will manage the hostels under the charge of a warden. All the hostels are located on the campus and have spacious and well-furnished rooms and running water with modern toilet facilities. Hostels are provided with a television, telephone, water-purifier, water cooler, indoor and outdoor games facilities.
24x7 Power Backup
Despite being situated in sub-urban area, the institute prides itself on having 24-hour uninterrupted power supply supported by regular grid connection of 120KW and two gensets of 82.5KVA and 35KVA.
Library
An excellent well equipped library spread over an area of 4000 sq.ft. has variety of reading material in addition to the curriculum related books There are thousands of books, computers with internet access and plenty of quiet study settings. The library also boasts of having air conditioned reading room. We have plenty of national & International journals.
Dining Facility & Cafeteria
Besides the dining facility available in the hostels, a cafeteria has been provided inside the campus, an open-air spaces with blocks of 'palatial ambiance' where imaginers and professionals-in-the-making will debate and deliberate on various issues related to the system as well as the status of business in the changed environment over endless cups of tea, coffee and other eatables.
Language Lab
The institute has a full-fledged Language Laboratory. The lab has been specially designed for student-teacher interaction so as to enhance their language knowledge & skills. The lab also has necessary software for language learning & practice. The Language Laboratory sessions also include word games, quizzes, extemporary speaking, debates, skits etc. These sessions are complemented by online learning sessions which take place in the Multi-Purpose Computer Lab. The Language Lab can also be used for teaching other foreign languages.
Gymnasium
A gymnasium has been established to help maintain the physical fitness of students. The gymnasium is well equipped and is open for both boys and girls at separate times during mornings and evenings.
Medical Facilities
The institute provides a dispensary to cover around 1000 people which includes the student and the staff of JETGI and others who come from the neighborhood. It also provides free medical facilities and medicines during OPD hours. The medical team consists of a Doctor In charge, and a compounder. If an emergency arises, the patient is either treated immediately by a qualified medical officer on call or the patient is moved to a city hospital under prior arrangements.
Security
JETGI has an efficient security force, covering all the buildings of the institute as well as all the residential and hostels areas. Security kiosks are present at accessible distance from all points on the Campus.
Bank
An on-campus bank extension counter with well-equipped computerized facilities, assuring instant deposits and withdrawals is planned. This will save the valuable time of the students and staff on the campus.
Transport
The campus is linked with various means of transport from Barabanki. The Institute also plans to run buses on no profit no loss basis.
